The Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Throggs Neck Jewish Centre plan four events for next Sunday evening, to take place at the Centre, 2918-20 Lafayette Avenue, The Bronx.
Besides a concert of Jewish and Hebrew music and a lecture on “Jewish Music and Contributions to Music by Jews”, there will be a display of musical books. At 7:30 p.m. a dance is to be held.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
