A meeting to organize a local unit of the American Jewish Congress will be held at the Y.M-C.A. here February 14, according to M. S- Gold-berger, who is in charge- Rabbi Jacob Sonderling of New York City-is guest speaker.
Under the auspices of the “Y,” speakers tentatively listed for this winter are Dr. Frederic Sondern of the New York Academy of Medicine; Dr. C. R- Whittlesey of Princeton University; Dr. Solomon Flink of C C N. Y., Walter J. Millard, field secretary, of the National Municipal League, and Jacob Landau, publisher of the Jewish Daily Bulletin.
George W. Miller, local attorney, is conducting a series of weekly discussion groups on current Jewish events. Rabbi Samuel Levy of the Shaarey Tifloe Synagogue will give three lectures on the following topics: “From Moloch to Mam-|mon”, “Legalism and Liberalism” I and “Present Day Reflections”.
