Plans for the simplification of its language and format so that a greater number of children between the ages of eight and fifteen will be interested in the contents, were made by the advisory board of Jewish Current News, a weekly for young readers, at a meeting luncheon held yesterday in the Jewish Theological Seminary.

Members decided that a contribution of five dollars from each of hundreds of religious schools throughout the country, would speed the plans.

Among those at the meeting were David J. Gaiter, editor of Current News; Jacob Landau, publisher; David Rudovsky, member of the Board of Jewish Education; Rabbi William F. Rosenblum, Rabbi Samuel M. Cohen and Israel Chipkin, of the Jewish Education Association, Dr. M. M. Soltes and Jacob Greenberp, of the N- ,Y. City Board of Education.
