Goldenson Dinner is Put over on Accout of the Death of Rabbi Enelow

The dinner which was to be tendered in welcome to Dr. and Mrs. Samuel H. Goldenson on February 25th has been postponed indefinitely owing to the death of Dr. Hyman G. Enelow, former rabbi of Congregation Emanu-El, it was announced yesterday.

Commenting on the death of the spiritual leader, The Bulletin, a paper published by the Congregation, declared that ???the passing of this man has cut short one of the finest scholarly careers in the history of the American Rabbinate. Throughout his ministry. Dr. Enelow held aloft the highest traditions of Jewish learning and of general culture.???

It had been Dr. Enelow???s intention to spend six or eight months abroad. He died suddenly on shipboard.
