Minority gruops, racial or religious, in carrying on according to their rights, are fighting the battles of liberalism, democracy and humanity, Rabbi Samuel M. Gup told the Franklin Country Ministerial Association at its monthly meeting.
He charged agitation aimed at minority groups such as the Jews was at bottom an imitation of the developments which brought on Fascism and dictatorship in Europ. “Once we deliver ourselves into teh hands of the dictators, demands of public office plus fear of opposition compel us to demounce every virtue which past generations fo Americans have won and maintained successfully.” he said.
