Mrs. David E. Godfarb addressed the 100 women assembled at the third annual luncheon of the women’s division of the New York Guild for the Jewishh Blind at the Metropolis Club yesterday. She was introduced by Leornard M. Wallstein who was guest chairman:

Praising the women for doing a bigger service than merely caring for the blind, Mrs. Goldfarb said: “You are not merely doing a great humanitarian piece of work; but you are creaating an understanding an sypathetie view toward humanity. If you are eyes to the blind, I hope you will be eyes to this darkened world and bring us back on the right road.”

Stepen S. Wise, who was to have been the other speaker, sent his greetings and support but was unable to attend because of a death in the family circle.

Mrs.D. Emil Klein, president of th women’s division, welcomed the group. Rota Gould and Jack Lawrence entertained.
