Anti-semitic Demonstration in Hungary

Hungaian anti-Semites and Nazis today carried out a series of demonstrations here with posters and leaflets calling for a boycott of the Jews.Simultaneously univerents,also began anti-Semtic disturbances.

The government intervened immediately and ordered the suppression of the campaign.Police removed the posters and leaflets and arrested a number of the distributors of leaflets and a group of demonstrators.

Hungary was recently the scene of a violent anti-Semitic strike or ganized by university students under Nazi leadership.The students presented a series of twenty-one anti-Semitic demands,and struck to force the government ot accept them.The strike was ended only after prolonged negotiations between the government and the students.
