Memorial services for Abraham I.Shplacoff,Socialist labor leader who died recently in New York, will be held here sunday afternoon at the Educational center under the joint auspices of athe local Poalezion Ziere Zion,Branch 32 of the Jewish National Workers’ Alliance, Young Poale-Zion Alliance and the City Committee of the Jewish Workmen’s Circle,comprised of Branches 19 and 534 and Ladies’Auxiliary Branch 529.
Isaac Hamli, general secretary of the National Committee for Palestinian workers,who will open the annual Gewershaften campaign in Syracuse Saturday night,will be the main speaker at the memorial meeting.The services are being arranged in tribute to the departed leader by the workers of the cityd. L. Lasavin,teacher of the Workmen’s Circle School,will Preside.
