“The Arabs will not sit down with folded arms in the face of a mass of Jewish immigration, and rumors of such immigration are likely to have grave cnsequences,” Emil Ghory, editor of a new Arab weekly published in English, writes in an article printed in AI Jamiea Al Arabea, Moslem daily here.

The writer discusses an address by Dr. Chaim Wiezmann delivered in London before leaders including Refugee Commissioner James G. McDonald, in which Dr. Weizmann said that 40,000 German Jews could be absorbed in Palestine annually.

The writer demands that Musa Kazem Pasha Al Husseini and others of the Arab Executive, the Arab Youth Foundation and other organizations, “take suitable measures” to prevent Jewish immigration in any such large numbers.
