It was announced by Governor Moore that the forthcoming reception for Professor Albert Einstein as a New Jersey resident will be held in this city instead of Atlantic City.
Ten thousand persons are expected to attend the affair to take place in the 113th Regiment Armory. Atlantic City had first been considered because of the seatig cipacity of the convention hall.
Dr. Eistein will deliver on this occasion his first public address since he came to New Jersey. Welcoming ceremonies will take place Sunday afternoon, March 25.
The scientist’s reluctance to make a public appearance was overcome by an arrangement which will feature a concert, under the auspices of the Governor’s committee. Besides Dr. Einstein’s address, distinguished concert artists will attend. Proceeds will be devoted to the settlement of German Jewish refugees in Palestine.

Mayor Bacharach of Atlantic City is chairman, and Mayor Ellenstein of Newark is treasurer.
Arrangements for the largest seating capacity ever placed in the Newark Armory are in progress. The dinner to Professor Eisnein, location to be announced later, will be attended by approximately 1,500 persons.
The music committee, consisting of Mrs. David Loeser, of East Orange, I. A. Hirschmann and Harry Friedgut, will announce the program of concert artists next week.
