Speaking at the tventy-fifth anniversary banquet of the Bronx Y. M. & Y. W. H. A. at the Concorse Plaza Saturday night, Mr. Maldwin Fertig, president of that institution for the past twenty years, said that ” the misfortune that has befallen the Jew in Germany has created a central so# darity amongst Jews the world over.”
Other speakers were Jacob Martel, A. W. Rosenthal and Rabbi Solomon Reichman. The toastmaster for the evening was David S. Mosenson.
