British Fascism was the subject of a debate today in the House of Lords. The peers who participated in the debate, including Viscount Cecil and Lord Snell, Labor peer, denounced the private armies of the Fascist parties in England.
Replying for the government, Lord Feversham said there were five Fascist groups in England and that the most. important unit was headed by Sir Oswald Mosety, former Laborite, while the two anti-Semitic Fascist parties, the British Fascists and the Imperial Fascists, were both small and were losing ground.
Only Sir Oswald’s party was gaining, Lord Feversham said. He declared that the government had the question of British Fascism under consideration, but added that he thinks there is no ground for apprehension.
