Owing to the extreme shortage of labor and the danger of the orange crop rotting before it is picked, an appeal was issued yesterday to German Jewish and other professionals to help pick the orange crop and thus acquire rural experience.

Tuesday school children volunteered their services to aid in gathering the fruit and workers were appealed to for help.
