The New Masses of March 13 contains a letter from one H. T. Adams, giving a few pointers on Father Coughlin, the whys and wherefores of his being.
Mr. Adams, after explaining a tie-up between Rockefeller and Coughlin, goes on to say that Coughlin in his speeches attempts to discredit Morgan and Mellon by linking them up with the international Rothschild–and mentions things about blood and race–Wall Street insiders regard Coughlin as another device of Ivy Lee, notorious Rockefeller propagandist whose son is now consorting with the Nazis in Germany.”
Women have the right to vote in Tel Aviv but strange to say not in Haifa or Jerusalem.
This anomaly was raised in the British parliament by Colonel Wedgewood only recently. Mr. Malcolm MacDonald, speaking for the Colonial secretary, explained that Tel Aviv had voted equal franchise for its women and if a two-thirds majority in any other place in Palestine voted for equal suffrage it could have equal suffrage too. Fair enough!
Those three outstanding German physicians, Professors Hermann, Samuel and Bernhard Zondek, who were forced to give up their scientific activities in Germany because they were Jews, will now collaborate on new scientific research projects at the Victoria Memorial Jewish Hospital at Manchester, England.
Professor Bernhard Zondek, who for a time has been working at the Rockefeller Institute in Sweden, will join Professors Hermann and Samuel Zondek at the hospital in Manchester largely as a result of the efforts of the director of the institution, Nathan Laski. Mr. Laski has built a new laboratory, at a cost of 10,000 pound in which the work will be done.
Dr. Bernhard Zondek is a famous gynecologist and is the discoverer of the Ascheim-Zondek test.
