Jewish Bodies Hold Meeting in Rochester

The board members of all Jewish Philanthropic Agencies in the cities of New York State, except New York City, will meet Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and 25, at a special conference of Jewish communal agencies here to consider current trends and problems in Jewish social work.

The conference will open with a public meeting Saturday evening with Dr. Selekman and Judge Goldstein as principal speakers. Among others who are scheduled to deliver addresses during the gathering are:

EUGENE WARNER, president of the Buffalo Federation for Jewish Social Service.

JUDGE CECIL WIENER of the Buffalo Children’s Court.

DR. BEN EDIDIN, executive director of the Buffalo Jewish Bureau of Education.

MOSES WILKENSTEIN, president of the Syracuse Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies.

WARREN WILKENSTEIN, president of the Syracuse Jewish Communal Center.

JEROME LIEBERMAN, former president of the Central New York Jewish Home for the Aged.

JUDGE MYRON LEWIS, president of the Utica Jewish Community Council.

BERTRAM AUFSESSER, president of the Albany Jewish Social Service.

DR. DAVID SCHNEIDER of Albany, Assistant Commissioner of Social Welfare.

AVROM JACOBS of Albany.

DR. S. J. APPELBAUM, president of the Rochester Jewish Welfare Council.

LESTER NUSBAUM, president of the Rochester Jewish Home for the Aged.
