Professor Albert Einstein will make a public address this Sunday in the Newark Armory where New Jerseyites, headed by Governor Moore, will officially welcome him at a reception as a resident of the state. A fund is to be raised for the rehabilitation of his exiled colleagues and co-religionists in Palestine.

Newark police are completing traffic arrangements, setting parking spaces for many blocks around the armory, as a huge turnout for the concert, in which internationally-known stars will participate, is expected. Giovanni Martinelli, Metropolitan Opera Company singer, and Madame Ernestine Schumann-Heink will be there. Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver of Cleveland will deliver an oration.

Practically every municipality of New Jersey will be fully represented as reservations are pouring in from Einstein admirers and music lovers. Thirty-two mayors have made reservations, Mayor Bacharach of Atlantic City heads teh active committee, while mayor Ellenstein of Newark is treasurer. A great part of the cost of the huge affair has been eliminated through numerous volunteer efforts, insuring that the maximum of proceeds will go toward the Palestine settlement, which is so close to Dr. Einstein’s heart.
