Editor, The Jewish Daily Bulletin:

As a Jewish, student at Connecticut State College I Save been impressed with the significance of a course in Jewish history which is being offered for the first time in any Connecticut collegiate institution.

Rabbi Morris Silverman of the Emanuel Synagogue of Hartford, Conn., has been conducting the course since February. There are twenty-five students enrolled at the, present time, including four who are not Jewish.

I have been impressed with the marked interest in the course shown on the campus by both Jewish and non-Jewish students. According to present indications, there will be a marked increase in course registration next semester. Of course, the important fact to be noted is that the success of this course in Connecticut State will indubitably influence other colleges and universities as to the advisability of including a .similar course in their curricula.

The course has been endorsed by the Connecticut Federation of Churches and the United Synagogue of America.
