150 Attend 1st Public Seder in Hartford

One hundred and fifty persons, including whole families who sat at individual tables, attended the first public seder held in Hartford Saturday night at Emanuel Synagogue, Rabbi Moris Silverman spiritual leader of the synagogue directed the seder and the father at the family tables conducted the ritual for their groups.

Many more than attended were turned away because reservations had not been made.
