The Amalgamated Clothing Workers’ Union in Toronto is “not in the least bit worried” about manufacturers objecting to the recent 10 per cent. increase in wages awarded to 1700 workers by the official arbitrator, H.G. Fester.

Union officials admitted today that they had received from the Manufacturers’ Association an appeal against the decision.

“As far as the union is concerned, we accept the decision of Mr. Fester,” an official said.
