The engagement of Daniel Saidenberg, principal violon-cellist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Miss Eleanor Block, creative Cancer, has been announced. Saidenberg has been with the Chicago orchestra for four years, coming here from Philadelphia where he played under Stokowski. He is American born and the winner of several awards, among them the Naumberg Foundation prize. Miss Block is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Block, 357 Fullerton Parkway. Mr. Block is the head of the Inland Steel Company.
