More than 2,000 people attended the thirty-seventh annual ball of the Home for the Daughters of Jacob in the grand ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria last night. Mrs. Peter J. Schweitzer is president of the organization.

The principal feature of the evening was an address by Governor Lehman through the medium of a sound motion picture, greeting the assembled guests, and lauding the work of the organization.

Among the artists who entertained were Bill Robinson, Arthur Tracy, Irene Bordoni, Lou Holtz, George Jessel. Harry Hershfield, Belle Baker, Nils T. Granlund, the Saxon Sisters and Howard Lanin’s orchestra.
