The Jews of Westchester County will launch their effort to raise $1,200,000 that has been assigned to New York Jewry as part of the national quota of $3,000,000 for the aid of Jews of Germany, on Sunday evening, June 3, with a dinner at the Community Center in White Plains.

Prominent Jewish leaders from all over Westchester will attend. Mark Eisner of Scarsdale, chairman of the Westchester County division, will preside, and there will be addresses by notable leaders in Jewish civic and communal work.

Steps are being taken to mobilize a large army of volunteer workers throughout the country, Mr. Eisner said. It is the plan of the committee to reach every Jew in Westchester. Committees have been organized, he announced, in Mamaroneck, Mt. Vernon, New Rochelle, Port Chester, Scarsdale, Tarrytown, White Plains and Yonkers.
