Sho enuf! It’s Dixie Carnival Week at Hearn’s and a merry black-faced King of Fun is ruling the crowds and their laughter. Six Georgia Peaches, Five Clouds of Joy and Three Tan Tappers are there singing and dancing the week away for your amusement. An all-colored show is presented twice daily at 11:30 and 3:30 and is featuring Adelaide Hall of the Cotton Club. It is all taking place on the stage of Hearn’s Little Theatre under the direction of Fanchon and Marco. Besides the names already mentioned there is El Brown, the famous impersonator, Frank Galassi and his orchestra and a dozen other merry-makers. It’s all to celebrate cotton week at Hearn’s and their window displays are gay and educational.
