The voice of the powerful Federated Trades Council, central organization of local trade unions, has been added to the protests raised against the sending of the Milwaukee State Teachers’ College band on a subsidized tour to Germany.

At its bi-weekly meeting here, the trades council voted to send a protest to Dr. Frank Baker, president of the college, and to the state board of regents, the governing body over teachers’ colleges.

Seven other Milwaukee organizations have announced opposition to the tour, charging it was a bait of the Hitler propaganda to spread Fascist propaganda.
