Members of the committee arranging a testimonial benefit for Mme. Bertha Kalich on the evening of June 10 at the Forty-fourth Street Theatre include:

Max Gordon, Arthur Hopkins, Daniel Frohman, Rev. Stephen S. Wise, Bernard S. Dutsch, Edgar Allen, Miss Fannie Hurst, Heywood Broun, B.C. Vladeck, C. P. Greneker, David B. Finestone, Frederick G. Robinson, president of City College; Louis Wiley, Lee Shubert, Edgar Allen, Harrison Grey Fiske, Paul Muni, Judge Samuel J. Levy, Rev. Samuel Schulman, Miss Helen Arthur, Miss Elsie Janis, Mrs. Fred Stone and Miss Elsa Maxwell.

Herman Bernstein, editor of the Jewish Daily Bulletin, and Dr. Henry Moskowitz head the committee.

Mme. Kalich, who was forced several years ago to retire from the stage because of an eye affliction, spent twenty-five years on the American stage. She appeared in many successful productions, including Sardou’s “Fedora,” Jacob Gordin’s “The Kreutzer Sonata,” Maeterlinck’s “Monna Vanna” and Emil Zola’s “Theresa Raquin.”
