Rabbi J. Marshall Taxay of Temple Israel was elected vice-president of District Grand Lodge No.2, B’nai B’rith, at the eight-second annual convention in St. Louis.
Dr. Taxay is the first rabbi from, outside the State of Ohio every to hold the office in this district, which includes Ohio, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Wyoming and New Mexico.
