Dr Ernest Abason, distinguished Mathematician whose work, “Elements of Mechanics.” was recently hailed ### the Rumanian Academy, was ### Jointed professor of geometry at ### Bucharest Polytechnic Institute.
Announcement of his appointment was greeted with a barrage by Taranoastra, anti-Semitic newspaper edited by Professor Goga, who protested the appointment on the Grounds that it would “inflame our nationalist youth” to have one of “alien race” appointed.
