Four hundred delegates from every part of the country will consider many important problems of Jewish life at the convention of the Federation of Polish Jews of America, which will be held over the week-end at the Clarendon-Brunswick Hotel here.
Among the resolutions which a re expected to be adopted, according to Z. Tygel, executive director will be those dealing with the renewal of Relief work on behalf of Jews in Poland, particularly the work by the landsmanschaft organization for their respective native towns; the revival of the suspended official organ of the Federation. “Der Verband”; the extension of aid to Polish Jews living in Germany; urging the establishment of a cultural committee to carry on educational work among affiliated organizations; appropriation for a propaganda fund.
Benjamin witer, president of the Federation, will render an expensive report not he past year’s work. Among other things he will stress “the excellent relations’ of the organization with the polish consulates in this country.”
