The Jewish Community here evoked city-wide praise when it tendered a farewell dinner to the Rev. Dr. F. P. Reinhold pastor of the Presbyterian Church.
A decade ago, when the city was a hotbed of Ku Klux Klan propaganda in this district, Dr. Reinhold was “a lonely voice protesting against the venomous agitation,” said Rabbi Leon Stitsky at the dinner.
