Ontario Elects Two Jews to Its Parliament

The provincial legislature of Ontario will number two Jewish members when it convenes for its next session as a result of elections in this city and Windsor.

In the latter city Mayor David A. Croll was yesterday elected to the Parliament by an overwhelming vote. The youthful Jewish mayor of Windsor—he was only thirty when elected to the mayoralty in 1930—will be the Minister of Labor in the cabinet of the liberal Premier-elect Mitchell F. Hepburn, the latter announced when informed of Croll’s signal victory.
