Unification of sentiment on behalf of the Palestine pioneer movement was hailed yesterday by those who participated in the conference Sunday on the training farm for the Hechalutz organization in Hightstown, N. J. There prominent Zionists, representatives of Jewish organizations and the press, joined in a thorough consideration of problems involved.
On behalf of the general Zionists Abraham Goldberg and Jacob Fishman pledged to share in future responsibilities. Forty-five delegates came by bus from New York, among the more than 100 persons attending, including Philadelphians and others. They made a tour of inspection before the session.
Speakers included, in addition to those mentioned, Leo Wolfson, who represented Morris Rothenberg, president of the Zionist Organization of America; Berl Locker, of the World Zionist Executive, who arrived here recently; Joseph Sprinzak, Goldie Myerson, E. Galili and Louis Segal. B Shelgin presided.
Organizations represented included the Zionist Organization of America, Poale Zion, Jewish National Workers Alliance, Avukah, Masada, Pioneer Women’s Organization, Young Judaea, League of Jewish Youth, Junior Hadassah and others.
