The Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company has contributed $500 to the United Jewish Appeal, according to an announcement from Julius Klorfein, cigar manufacturer, who heads the Cigar and Tobacco Division of the campaign.

Although it was formed but recently, this group has already enlisted many leading figures in the industry for the participation in the campaign.

Greater New York’s leading dentists have also formed a special committee headed by Dr. Theodor Blum. The Dentists’ Division is a subsidiary of the Trades Council of the drive, which embraces more than thirty-five business and professional groups.
