The only change in the present Nazi policy toward the Jews of Germany will be the suppression of violent acts against them, a high ranking member of the Nazi government, who is also prominent in the Nazi party, informed the Jewish Telegraphic Agency’s special correspondent today.

At the same time the Nazi official declared that the government would continue to eliminate Jews from the economic, political and cultural life of Germany, but since it was desired to deprive foreign opinion of opportunities for anti- German propaganda, the elimination would be conducted in a quiet manner. It was emphasized to the correspondent that despite the un-sensational method to be adopted, the complete ousting of the Jews from German life would be, none the less, effective.

DRIVE FOR "ARYAN CLAUSES"

The present racial policy of the Nazis is also to be continued and the Nazis will embark on a campaign to carry out the "Aryan clause" to the fullest extent.

Minister of Propaganda Paul Joseph Goebbels today issued the monthly list of six new books approved by the regime as being the finest flower of Nazi culture. Two of the books deal entirely with the race question in the approved Nazi manner.

Minister of War General von. Blomberg today issued an order that civilian employes of the army must prove that they are "Aryans" and that their wives and brides must have an unsullied "Aryan" pedigree. Employes who fail to pass the test will be deprived of their jobs, it was announced.

The newspaper attacks on the Jews was continued today by Propaganda Minister Goebbels’ Der Angriff and the Deutsche Zeitung. Both Nazi sheets carried leading articles accusing Holland Jews of being responsible for recent unemployment disturbances in Amsterdam.

Goebbels’ paper sent a special correspondent to the Dutch capital and featured his reports that David Wynkoop and Louis Devisser, Jewish members of the Dutch Parliament, aided by a dozen other Jews, are inflaming the Dutch population through the widely-read Communist paper, the Tribune of Amsterdam.

Kissingen, well known German health resort, today posted huge signs forbidding Jews from using the sun baths or swimming bath.

An anxious Germany awaited the session of the shadow Reichstag called by Chancellor Hitler for tomorrow evening. Criticism of the bloody purge continues to grow. Disaffected storm troop friends of the slain Nazi leaders are known to be spreading their version of the "alleged revolt," which contradicts completely the official version.

Chancellor-Hitler is expected to give the official Nazi version of the "purge" and to take cognizance of Germany, which Germans feel was achieved in London during the conference between British officials and Foreign Minister Louis Barthou of France. The German Chancellor, it is understood, will once again defy the rest of the world in an attempt to swing German opinion behind him against the world and divert attention from the "bloody week."

The People’s Court today suddenly called for Saturday a special tribunal which will deal with treason and political crimes. The session of the court follows immediately on Hitler’s speech to the Reichstag on Friday.
