One of the main interests of the Young Israel Synagogue of Jersey City lies in a proposed Academy of Higher Learning and Parochial School in this city. William Werblowsky has been appointed chairman of the committee for this project by Abraham Jacobowitz, president of the synagogue.
The organization decided that high holiday services will be held at the Bergen Hebrew Institute.
