Louis Sobel of New York, selected to be the executive director of the Jewish Community Center here to succeed Miss Ella Vera Feldman, will assume his post on September 15.
Mr. Sobel is resigning from his post as assistant director of the Bronx Y. M. and Y. W. H. A. to take the Detroit position.
