Colonel Walter Adam, Austrian Minister of Propaganda, charged openly today in a radio broadcast that Nazi Germany was directly implicated in last Wednesday’s putsch against the Austrian government and in the revolt which followed.
The charge was made on the basis of coded documents found in the shoes and clothing of Franz Heel, a secret Nazi courier arrested at Kollerschlag, Austria, on his way to Austrian Nazi headquarters from Munich. The decoded papers, according to Colonel Adam, showed that orders for unarmed
