The local Nazi publication, Le Patriot, has been giving evidence of late that the Nazi government in Germany must be running out of funds.

On the 19th of this month Le Patriot declared that its treasury was exhausted and it would have to rely upon its readers for further publication funds.

The following week, Le Patriot complained editorially that reader response to its appeal for funds had been virtually nil. Instead of appearing in an eight-page format as heretofore, Le Patriot threatened to find itself cut down to four pages, which is, of course, scarcely enough for all the anti-Semitic things Le Patriot usually finds it necessary to say.
