The cooperation and support of the non-Jewish population of this city in the maintenance of the Y. M.-Y. W. H. A. loomed large this week with the completion of a statistical study of the recent membership and maintenance campaign conducted by the Community Centre.

The campaign committee sought $25,000 in a ten-day drive. The money was over subscribed.

Figures of the drive’s result reveal that there were a total of 294 new memberships secured, a total of 370 new contributions, and 942 renewed memberships. Of the total, there were 107 non-Jewish memberships, 218 non-Jewish contributions, only 132 decreases in memberships, and 61 increases in memberships. There was a decrease of 44 in the number of contributions, compared with an increase of 22.
