Baltimore Jewry turned out last night to honor the memory of Chaim Nachman Bialik, late Hebrew poet laureate, at a mass meeting in the Chizuk Amuno auditorium.

Abraham Goldberg, New York publicist, eulogized Bialik as a “poet, dreamer, nationalist and fighter for the renaissance of the Hebrew language.”

“He is a figure of eternity,” Goldberg said, “whose importance death cannot diminish or lessen.”

Dr. Herman Seidel said, “It does not require great learning and much knowledge to realize the immensity of the heritage he left us.”
