A grape cure station has been established at the Levant Fair grounds here. The Thuva marketing cooperative made the arrangements for the station which is under the patronage of the Physicians’ Association of this city.
Dr. Muskat, formerly of Reichenthal, Germany, is director of the station. The Thuva restaurants will supply food, according to diets prescribed by physicians and arrangements have been made for physical treatment also according to prescription. The latter includes sea and sun bathing, massage, walking exercises, light games and calesthenics.
The essential elements in the cure are grapes and grape juice. The dietetic treatment also includes “Kephir,” “Leber,” and pasteurized milk.
Tel Avivians are welcoming this cure station as a first step in establishing this city as a health resort, especially for people of moderate means.
