Amendments to the Live Poultry Code will be considered at a hearing which will be held this morning at the Hotel New Yorker by the Agricultural Adjustment Administration.

The AAA also is expected to take up the tangled difficulties between the shochtim and market owners in the poultry industry.

The poultry code authority has taken over the inspection of poultry, formerly a duty of the Health Department. The Health Department will rescind all poultry health regulations on Sept. 19.

The Federal Government will take steps to halt the traffic in diseased poultry by appropriate amendments to the code.
