Garden Party to Aid Charity Set for Aug. 29

Five style exponents have combined to create the ensembles for the fashion show which is to feature the annual luncheon and garden party of the North Shore group of the women’s division of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies on August 29 at the Terraces, home of Mrs. Irving Gelder, Pond road, Great Neck. The fashions will be displayed outdoors on the grounds of the estate.

The North Shore group committee, headed by Mrs. Jerome I. Udell, will devote the proceeds for the maintenance of the ninety-one charitable agencies affiliated with Federation. Mrs. Sidney C. Borg, Mrs. Alfred A. Cook and Mrs. Felix M. Warburg will be the guests of honor.

Costumes for street, country, cocktail, dinner and evening wear will be displayed by professional models.

Serving with Mrs. Udell on the luncheon committee are:
