The Ocean Parkway Jewish Center, Brooklyn, yesterday mourned the loss of Mrs. Dora Raskin, active in social and philanthropic work, who died and was interred Friday at the Beth-El Cemetery after services at the Center. She was ninety years old.

“In her long life,” said Rabbi Jacob Bosniak in the eulogy, “she fulfilled the words which King Solomon wrote in honor of his mother, ‘Her worth is greater than precious pearls’.”

Mrs. Raskin was a familiar figure on the Jewish East Side. She was deeply interested in Hebrew and corresponded in the language with many friends abroad.

She is survived by seven children.
