This country is particularly worried by Foreign Minister Beck’s Geneva declaration on the minorities problem, regarding it as a test of Polish strength.

Fears exist in official quarters here, which have been communicated to the Geneva representation, that if Poland is not reprimanded severely by the other powers, her next step is likely to take an even more sensational form. It is felt that this next move will directly concern Lithuania, provoking this country to war, perhaps.
