A conference on membership and maintenance fund campaigns for Jewish centers has been called by Harry L. Glucksman, executive director of the National Jewish Welfare Board. It will be held on September 27 and 28 at the Y. M. H. A., Ninety-second street and Lexington avenue.
Executives of Jewish centers will attend the conference, whose purpose is to discuss financial and membership problems, with special reference to the conduct of fund-raising projects during the coming season.
Technique of campaign organization, publicity methods and follow-up of collections will be among the principal themes discussed. It is expected also to arrange for individual conferences to deal with specific local situations. The conference will also deal with the nature and scope of the service available from the Jewish Welfare Board.
