Dr. Abraham L. Sachar, Dr. Max Woldenberg and Rabbi Joshua Liebman were among the speakers participating in a reception here in honor of Rabbi Martin M. Weitz, newly appointed director of the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation at Northwestern University. More than 400 students and friends attended.
Dr. Woldenberg, president of the Friends of Hillel, presided, and introduced the speakers. Dr. Sachar, national director of the Hillel Foundations, told the history of this new foundation and explained the purposes of Hillel.
