The body of Saul Brant, violinist and teacher, who died on Wednesday in Mount Sinai Hospital, after a lingering illness, will be sent to Savannah (Ga.), for interment. He was 52 years old.
Born in Savannah in 1882, Mr. Brant was educated in the public schools there. Later he studied in Europe with Carl Flesch, Henry Marteau and Caesar Thompson. He was head of the violin department of the McGill Conservatory of Music in Montreal, for twenty years. For the last six years he had made his home in New York.
