The recent proclamation of Biro-Bidjan as a Jewish autonomous region has spurred COPOR, society for the colonization and productivization of Rumanian Jews, to announce that money will be raised to buy tractors as gifts to Jewish farmers in Biro-Bidjan in the name of their Rumanian fellow Jews.
