One of the last official acts of the late Ludwig Vogelstein as chairman of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations was to issue a call to the congregations for religious recovery, it was revealed here today.
In his appeal to the member temples of the organization he urged each to set aside one day of the year in connection with the annual Union tour, to consider the work and welfare of the Union.
