Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Bloomgarden, 57, widow of the Yiddish poet and Bible translator Yehoash who died Thursday, will be held at one o’clock today from the Brettschneider Stuyvesant Funeral Home, 49 East Seventh street.

Mrs. Bloomgarden had been ill for several years, but until her death continued to labor on the manuscripts her husband had left unfinished. Knowing neither Hebrew nor Yiddish at the time of her marriage, Mrs. Bloomgarden mastered both languages and collaborated with her husband in preparing his works for publication.

Dr. Samuel Adams Cohen of New York has been appointed to the executive committee and board of trustees of the Leo N. Levi Memorial Hospital at Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas, it was announced Friday.
